Wondering ~

I wonder if love is in the happiness that we share when we are together or is it the “miss you” syndrome when we are apart. Is it the pain I experience when I leave you, or is it the hope of meeting you again?

Does loving someone mean giving him a lot of time and spending hours with him or can love grow even when you just think about him. Can love be felt in silence?

Is love all about the terrible fights you have when you are on the verge of saying “go away, I don’t need u” or is it all about saying “leave me alone for a while, I will come back to you”? Is love really about saying “I am yours, come what may!” or are there some restrictions? Is love a reality or is it an illusion?

Do you “think” when you are in love or do you just fall in love?

  1. I think you just fall in love. If it is forced, then I’d have to wonder if it is real. And I definitely think love is spiritual, so spending time with your loved one, while a wonderful thing, is not a necessity for love to prevail.

  2. I am wondering too……let me know when you find the answer! Or I can just say that LOVE is all that you have said and maybe more. This beautiful phenomenon just happens and I’d like to think it is real because it helps not just the person who is in love, but to all around! What is your Doctorate in, by the way?? 🙂 hehee…just kidding.

    • no way am I finding the answer! I loved your interpretation. You are right! I should just pack my PhD stuff and start writing on love 😛 what say? hahaha. Small joys of life..to think beyond the mundane 🙂

  3. Addie said it for me.

I like what John O’Donohue says about love. Here’s a little bit:

“When you find the person you love, an act of ancient recognition brings you together. It is as if millions of years before the silence of nature broke, you lover’s clay and your clay lay side by side. . .”

he goes on with this wonderful metaphor of clay.

  4. I believe it’s always better to rise for someone that falling for that person. Still we can only rise if we have the courage to fall for someone or something. Really nice post. Beautifully written. 🙂
